My Origin Story
I am a recovering accounting student. I remember sneaking out in the middle of Intermediate Accounting class. I literally crawled on the floor, dodging feet and backpacks, to get to the exit. I was not a dedicated accounting student.
So, when I was studying for the CPA exam, I had no idea what was going on. I was lost. That left me only one option. To study in The. Most. Painful. Way. Possible. Brute force memorization. Like chalkboard punishments, only instead of writing “I will not text in class” over and over, I rewrote my entire review books over and over (and over and over). I also listened to the same droning lectures 3, 4, 10 times. And you know what? Studying sucked. Trying to memorize ALL of the review material made studying for the CPA exam one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I knew there had to be a better way to study and pass.
I’ve spent years researching CPA exam questions and study methods. Based on this research, I developed visual, engaging, funner courses to make CPA review easier to understand and easier to remember. In short, super effective.
